Nokia enables mobile printing

The Nokia mobile printing enables people to order prints directly from their device over cellular networks, and have them delivered, says Nigerian Tribune.

Users of compatible Nokia Nseries multimedia computers can capture images, edit them and order prints. Images can be printed on stickers or gift items like mugs or t-shirts.

The service is accessible from the device's gallery application, by selecting the relevant images, inserting an address and other requested information, and selecting 'order now'. Payment can be made via credit card.

HP explores Edgeline's future

HP is looking at ways to apply its advanced Edgeline printing technology to smaller and cheaper printers, as well as looking at adding new features to products in the Edgeline range, says ITPRO.

The company launched two Edgeline printers in April - the CM8060 and CM8050 - as part of its $1.4 billion investment in scalable printing technology.

Alluding to other future possibilities for Edgeline, Steven Miller added: "We're exploring all these areas and we don't know which way we'll take it yet. This is just the beginning of this technology."

Zaxys Depth & Motion Imaging announced the introduction of its new business card and postcard products Web site, according to eMediaWire.

The new Web site gives users the ability to design their own 3D lenticular business cards or postcards in the 3D programme and upload designs for printing.

The site is launching with business cards only, but expects to add postcards to its product list by the end of the month, and additional products in the future.
