Nortel Networks re-confirmed its commitment to the enterprise market in two conferences held in Monte Carlo last week.
The first - a sales conference - was attended by approximately 700 quota-carrying staff. This was followed by a partner conference attended by 400 delegates from around Europe and Africa.
The conferences were a great success, and re-emphasised Nortel`s positioning in enterprise market. Nortel Networks also confirmed its outlook for 2002. The company said it will continue to advance its leadership position through continued commitment to the enterprise. It will also sharpen its focus in response to market changes.

We are thus directing our resources to focus on new technologies and applications for the enterprise," said Tony Wilson, Enterprise Director at Nortel Networks South Africa.

In April, Nortel Networks will host an end-users forum at Euro Disney, followed by a distributors alliance forum in Switzerland.
