Nortel Networks, the worldwide market leader in secure Virtual Private Networking (VPN) solutions, today announced immediate availability of the Contivity VPN client for Windows 2000. With this release Nortel extends the lead it enjoys in the VPN market as it is the first major VPN vendor to offer a full featured VPN remote access client for Windows 2000. The release of Contivity version 2.62 VPN client includes support for Windows 95, 98, NT, and 2000. Extended interoperability with the widely adopted Microsoft platforms offers users more options and flexibility when implementing their VPN solutions.
