Nortel updates EMEA channels programme

Nortel Networks has revised its channels programme in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), reports New Zealand's News.

It hopes to sign up new that sell to smaller companies and increase the amount of business it does through its big , it said.

It's the first broad shake-up for Nortel's EMEA channel since 2001.

Manhattan Associates upgrades retail offering

Global supply chain technology provider Manhattan Associates now offers a distributed order management (DOM) solution that features certified integration with WebSphere Commerce from IBM, states Logistics Magazine.

DOM, part of Manhattan's Order Lifecycle Management suite within the Manhattan SCOPE portfolio, gives system users a global view of inventory across suppliers, distributors, distribution centres and stores so that store level, online, telephone and catalogue orders can be fulfilled from multiple inventory channels.
