Note-It Technology, South Africa`s official distributor of Micron notebook and desktop computers and Soyo notebooks, has expanded its computer range to include Compaq, Toshiba, Mecer, IBM, Acer, Palmax and Palmtops, notebooks and desktops computers.
"Augmenting our notebook and desktop range with several new brands will enable us to tap new markets. We were already servicing and maintaining these and other brands, so it made sense to add them to our sales catalogue," says Michelle Silberman, managing director of Note-It.
Note-It
Founded in 1992, Note-It Technology provides a full suite of integrated solutions, from designing networks to installing and configuring servers. Note-It forms part of the Accfinity Group, which also markets Accfin
accounting software.
Note-It provides:
* Notebooks, desktops and NetFRAME servers
* Network design and implementation
* Network maintenance
* Software solutions (operating systems, all application software, GroupWare and licensing)
* Intranets as well as Web Servers
* Mail servers.
Back-up through repairing and servicing notebooks and desktops also forms a major element in Note-It`s Business Strategy. "We are the only company in the world licensed to repair Micron notebooks. Apart from this we repair all other brands of notebooks such as IBM, DELL, Compaq, Toshiba, Mecer, Hewlett Packard, Epson and others to board level," says Silberman.
Repairing to board level means Note-It has the technical ability to effect repairs by replacing faulty parts. It will only replace an entire unit or component where it is absolutely necessary.
Charges for repair work are very competitive and Note-It`s turnaround time is 48hrs or faster. If a notebook or desktop is seriously damaged the repair might take longer. In this instance a loan unit will be given to the customer. Most notebook vendors send notebooks overseas for repair which is both time consuming and expensive.
