Novell Brainshare 98 re-scheduled for October

Johannesburg, 03 Jun 1998

Novell SA, the networking software giant, is hosting Brainshare 98, the key conference to attend if you are at all involved in enterprise networking and the Internet. To be held at Helderfontein Estate, the conference will run from 6 to 8 October 1998. Says Trish Barwick, marketing manager for Novell SA, "Brainshare will assist all IT professionals in evolving enterprise networks into full-service intranets, thereby helping them blend advanced network services with open standards and Internet technology". For the duration of the three days, attendees will be exposed to a variety of the programs and products that will usher business as we know it into the next millennium. More importantly, Novell will illustrate how IT professionals can best utilise their company`s resources to gain the competitive edge in today`s pressurised business world. Furthermore, delegates will be shown how to exploit the opportunities presented by the Internet, as well as how to overcome the daunting challenges proffered by the modern medium. Instructional technical sessions will demonstrate migration and integration techniques to tap into the Internet, so as to derive the greatest benefit from this omnipresent resource. Delegates will also learn how to streamline internal communications, and keep remote resources connected via an intranet. While Novell`s strategic partnerships with third-party vendors will demonstrate that these alliances offer networks the scalability and flexibility they need to meet the challenges facing a business in the 90s and beyond, Brainshare will furthermore afford all delegates the opportunity to network and swap ideas with colleagues from around the globe. By the end of the conference, Novell`s best engineers and architects will ensure that delegates not only have the underlying knowledge, but the actual tools needed to develop more powerful, reliable and manageable networks, at their disposal.
