Novell has announced availability of Novell GroupWise Wireless 1.1, software that enables businesses to maximise employee productivity by providing wireless access to messaging, calendaring, tasks and address books.
Novell corporate business strategist James Stewart says this anywhere, anytime access to a broad range of services also promotes customer loyalty and drives new revenue opportunities by allowing companies to quickly respond to sales inquiries, support requests, investment opportunities and other pressing demands. Central to the release of Novell GroupWise Wireless is the Novell GroupWise Web client, WebAccess. After users log in to Novell GroupWise through WebAccess using a wireless device, they can:
List and open all item types (messages, appointments, tasks, and notes)
Change folders
Send, reply to, forward and delete all item types
Accept, decline, and delegate appointments, tasks, and notes
Mark tasks completed
Search address books
Search for documents and view property information about the documents
