Novell has announced the third phase of beta for GroupWise 5.5, Novell`s premier collaboration product for corporate networks and intranets. An enhanced business-class collaboration tool, GroupWise 5.5 gives network users immediate value through out-of -the-box functionality and improved tools that gather, access and communicate corporate information with expanded information manageability and inter-company collaboration capabilities.
GroupWise 5.5 incorporates new and expanded features that allow unified management of people, resources and documents from a single point. Users can leverage the power of the internet through enhanced industry- standard Internet security and improved Internet standards support, as well as integrated Web publishing capabilities.
Through document echoing and directory service support, users have full remote access to documents and the network. Expanded calender options provide more searching, viewing and printing capabilities, offering users a simplified process for managing their schedules.
