Novell has announced that resellers who join the PartnerNet programme, or renew their annual subscription as Novell Business Partners before 28 February, will receive a Business Partner Starter Pack valued at around R10 000. This is in addition to the standard benefits received under the PartnerNet programme.
"Besides comprehensive information on Novell, the pack also includes evaluation software and valuable training material," says PartnerNet account manager Patricia Leaman. "Additionally, resellers receive their first three calls (via telephone, e-mail or the Web) to Novell Technical Support free, while additional calls can be made at a specially reduced PartnerNet price."
Resellers will also be well informed, thanks to a `welcome aboard` letter from Novell, a complete sales guide to Novell Small Business Suite, and a set of Novell brochures. Test Drive 3 evaluation software, as well as an evaluation copy of NetWare 5 Small Business suite is also included in the starter pack.
The training material comprises a sales and technical training course on NetWare 5 Small Business suite, a Certified Novell Sales (CNS) training course, a NetWare 5 administration self-study kit, a further R500 discount off instructor-led 5 administration course at a Novell authorised education centre (NAEC), and to top it off, Quicktrain Audio CDs (ZENWorks family of products).
"Resellers are also encouraged to make use of the special business opportunity," Leaman continues. "Their first sale of NetWare 5 Small Business Suite will entitle them to R500 off their next Novell purchase."
