Novell South Africa has re-affirmed Cape Town-based First Technology Microdata`s Business Expert status for the second year.

The fact that our Durban branch has also been awarded Business Expert status this year further emphasises our group`s commitment to Novell as a technology partner."
A Novell Business Expert (NBE) is the highest level of Novell reseller within the company`s Novell PartnerNet programme. "To qualify for the NBE status a reseller must be focused on providing Novell solutions and have very high levels of Novell technical (Certified Novell Engineers and Master Certified Novell Engineers) and sales skills (Certified Novell Sales Professionals) within their organisation," explains Novell corporate account manager Mandy Booysen.
"Additionally, each NBE undergoes intensive training on Novell`s licensing programmes to enable them to recommend the correct solution for their customers. NBEs are also continually evaluated to ensure that their skills levels are maintained."
A Novell Business Expert enjoys direct support from Novell Technical Services (NTS), enabling them to offer their customers a high level of technical support and value-added services.
