More than 25 000 resellers, consultants, developers, OEMs, NSPs, and ISPs throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa have already started benefiting from PartnerNet, Novell`s newly designed two-tier program encompassing all Novell`s channel and strategic partners.
PartnerNet aims to make every channel partner unique through its modular approach. The program allows each partner to pick and choose benefits and support levels according to their individual business needs.
Novell`s commitment is to business development with the channel and its wide range of products offers each partner the opportunity to be recognised as a major player in a preferred solutions area.
Novell Channel and Distribution Manager, Martin Bawden said that new look-and-feel PartnerNet replaces the previous localised and hierarchical version with a new two-tier program of Novell Business Partners and Business Experts. "We have set the standard in the industry for more than 15 years. Novell is widely recognised as a channel innovator and we constantly strives to enhance our partner program to keep up with the dynamics of our industry."
"PartnerNet is customer driven. It provides a platform for the channel to deliver more value-add service to their customers. Together, Novell Business Partners and Business Experts create a powerful sales machine."
Novell also announced that Business Experts will have the opportunity to market their Novell skills and expertise to the entire Novell customer base, following the successful roll out of PartnerNet, through a Partner Locator on the Novell World Wide Web site.
The Partner Locator is an intelligent online search engine linked to a database containing information on Novell Business Experts and their key areas of Novell expertise. It will provide an easy-to-use Novell skills directory to help customers locate and contact suppliers that offer the services they require.
"PartnerNet will revolutionise the way Novell communicates with companies developing, integrating and selling solutions on and for the Novell platform. With unrestricted access to a wealth of Novell technical and marketing support and via the Web, Novell Business Partners and Business Experts will be able to take advantage of more sales and development opportunities than ever before.
