Marstec, sole distributor in SA for CCC Mobile`s Celesta solutions, has implemented Celesta Smart Forms on the Nokia 9110 Communicator solution at Nu Metro Video.
Nu Metro Video has 50 sales consultants nationally who capture sales orders from video retail outlets and confirm real-time stock levels to give an unprecedented level of customer service.
Not only has this solution reduced Nu Metro Video`s order processing time from one week to a few minutes, it has also increased the accuracy of the information and reduced the order processing costs. The real-time availability of the additional customer information has assisted Nu Metro Video in resolving on hold and returns issues more effectively than in the past, thereby improving customer service.
Nu Metro`s main centres are in Johannesburg, Durban, Port Elizabeth and Cape Town. Nu Metro Video has implemented the Marstec Mobile Sales solution, which is used by its sales consultants for the capture of customer orders for both rental customers (ie video stores that rent out movies) and retail customers (ie stores that retail the movies to the public). The mobile solution enables the sales consultants to capture the customer order and confirm stock levels. The system returns a head office generated order number, which confirms the order placement.
The sales consultant prints the confirmed customer order at the customer`s premises via the IR port of the Nokia 9110 Communicator.
An added benefit is that if the customer account is on hold, an immediate notification is sent so that action can be taken to resolve outstanding debt.
If the sales consultant needs to collect damaged or faulty VHS tapes or DVDs from the customer, then goods returned vouchers details are sent too.
Updating of customer details on the Nokia 9110 are synchronised to head office, ensuring that real-time customer details are available to all departments.
