Nvidia has unveiled what it describes as the "most powerful graphics processing solution" for notebook PCs, says CCL Computers.
A combination of two GeForce 8800M GTX GPU processors delivers a top-quality visual experience for high-definition films, 3D games and GPU-accelerated applications.
The GPUs work together in a single notebook, thereby doubling its graphics processing ability.
Pyramat offers gaming comfort
Pyramat, the company that brought console gamers a chair with built-in subwoofer and speakers, has turned its attention to PC gamers, says Pocket-Lint.
The new chair, called the PC Gaming Chair 2.1, will look more like a regular office chair compared to the more laid back approach for the console version.
The executive style office-look chair connects wirelessly to a PC through a built-in digital wireless receiver and features two full range speakers and a PowerSub subwoofer.
AssistiveGaming helps disabled
AssistiveWare, makers of assistive technologies for Mac OS X, has unveiled AssistiveGaming, which offers game-related information for Mac users who suffer from physical disabilities, says Mac World.
The new site features articles about general gaming topics, reviews of games, and short descriptions of games with a special focus on their accessibility.
The site also welcomes contributions from any Mac gamer using assistive technology, regardless of disability.
Man kills daughter over Xbox
A Philadelphia man has been convicted of killing his daughter after she pulled on the cords of his Xbox and caused it to fall, says Wired News.
Tyrone Spellman was convicted of third-degree murder and child endangerment and faces up to 47 years in prison.
Spellman was accused of beating his 17-month-old daughter, Alayiah, after she knocked over his Xbox, cracking her skull several times in the process.
