In an effort to further the South African adoption of locally developed products, PM Ora Software, a PM Tech Holdings enterprise monitoring and maintenance software division, has appointed Network Visibility Solutions (NVS) as a reseller for its range of management and monitoring solutions.
Commenting on the appointment, Warren Davis-Hannibal, channel manager for PM Ora Software, says combined, PM Ora`s Enterprise Gauge tool and NVS` Eye of Storm product offer a powerful solution for managing and monitoring local IT infrastructures.
"Our Enterprise Gauge tool will now enable NVS to offer a comprehensive solution that not only enables infrastructure management but also offers reporting functionality and the proactive monitoring of data and underlying operating systems (OSs).
As part of the agreement, PM Ora Software will also provide on-site support and customisation services to NVS.
Davis-Hannibal adds that NVS has a strong and established network monitoring customer base, which also adds a lot of value to the partnership.
"Since our establishment in April 2000 we`ve aimed to offer a new breed of network and infrastructure management tools to the African marketplace that address the specific issues faced by local companies," comments Tony Rolston, General Manager at Network Visibility Solutions.
"Now our partnership with PM Ora Software enables us to extend our offerings even further, providing solutions that adhere to companies` specific management and monitoring needs."
Eye of the Storm covers network inventory, fault and performance in one solution. It offers SLA reporting, covering layers 1-4 and can diagnose the root cause failures between network, server and application.
