Oakwell Solutions announced two new packaged solution offerings this week. Both utilise the Microsoft platform and are designed to enhance business productivity. Web Presence Management (WPM) a low maintenance, corporate Web site updating tool, and InTouch a dynamic electronic questionnaire system, are powerful, easy to use products specifically developed to boost a client`s efficiency.
Web Presence Management (WPM) is an entry-level tool enabling companies to manage their own Web sites, allowing them to change content on their sites easily and efficiently. Time-to-market from project initiation to deployment is less than a month with reasonable set up and running costs.
"Keeping a Web site current is important," says Oakwell`s co-owner and director, Shane Coetser. "A static, out-of-date site can injure a company`s image. WPM allows the real content owners to manage their content without IT intervention."
Through its centralised design, the system empowers content owners to enhance or change information displayed on the site instantly and easily, for example, a new image, message, price adjustments, or some other pressing communication.
The strategic aims of the organisation are more easily realised, closing the gap between internal objectives and external customers and suppliers. "More than this," says Coetser, "WPM gives our clients independence. While we focus on partnering with clients and suppliers alike, we genuinely respect their need for full ownership of their content. WPM gives them control over what is an essential public face."
The second product, InTouch, is a Web-based questionnaire that collates information for analysis and dissemination. "Because it is customisable and highly flexible," says Roy Hobson, also a co-owner and director at Oakwell, "we have seen our clients using this tool in diverse applications, from internal skills management to external client feedback."
Time-to-market from project initiation to deployment is less than a month. Due to the centralised design, enhancements and changes are instantaneous and the tool easily integrates into existing online systems.
InTouch provides a simple platform for collecting, storing and analysing survey data. Whether for internal staff evaluations and inputs, or for external customer/sales monitoring, InTouch takes the complexity and high cost of paper-based monitoring systems and simplifies the process.
