"With the introduction of the Oc'e CS6100 solvent inkjet printer, we now offer the most extensive line of solvent printers in the display graphics market," says Wojciech Skrzeszewski, manager for display graphics at Oc'e South Africa.
The Oc'e CS6100 is a 2.6m wide, productive, high resolution, wide format printing system capable of making prints for interior and exterior use using solvent inks. Applications include vinyl, PVC, canvas and textile banners, fleet graphics, billboards and printed signage.
The Oc'e CS6100 offers true 720 x 720dpi resolution and print speeds of up to 20.4 m^2 per hour in four-pass mode. The Oc'e CS6100 is a very robust printer designed for production environments and, owing to its 2.6m width, is ideally suited to address virtually all outdoor printing applications.
"This machine opens up a number of new possibilities for customers," says Skrzeszewski. It features an improved media transport mechanism for media rolls weighing up to 110kg, meaning that large print jobs can be printed non-stop. In addition, cheaper materials with an open structure can be used, you can print on both sides of media and it is possible to print on two different rolls, fed in alongside each other, thus increasing total print productivity.
