Staff of Oc'e South Africa put their heads - and hearts - together recently and came up with a collection box for the Aurora Primary School's annual fundraiser.
Oc'e South Africa's marketing general manager, Peter Enslin, says: “The Aurora Primary School is close to our hearts as we donated a black-and-white printer to them about a year ago. When we heard that they needed items for their Tombola, we simply had to get involved.”
The marketing department sprang into action and appealed to Oc'e staff to participate with donations of clothes, toys, sporting gear, and the like. The response was overwhelming and after just a few weeks, Oc'e was able to provide a bakkie-load of goods.
Aurora Primary School's Veronica Walker adds: “A big thank you to those at Oc'e, who donated so generously, allowing us to get this initiative off the ground. We still haven't reached our target of 4 000 items, which we need in order to be able to give a parcel to each child.”
