Octagon Business Solutions is pleased to announce that it has been appointed by the local distributor to sell the AnexTEK SP230 Pocket PC Phone.
"AnexTEK are well known for their quality products and the SP230 is no exception," says Hilton Haefele, MD of the local distribution company.
The SP230 runs on Microsoft`s Pocket PC Phone 2003 and comes standard with 64MB ROM and 64 MB RAM. It has a Lithium Ion battery and has an extra-large 3.5-inch TFT screen with 65 000 colours and 240 x 320 resolution.
The phone specs are as follows: GSM 900/1800/1900MHz System (GPRS Class B/Class 10) with a talk time of three to five hours and stand-by time of 100 - 150 hours. The phone also supports multiple conference calls, 99 fast-dials and a built-in speakerphone.
"One of the most exciting features is the GPS bundle option," says Chris Topping of Octagon. At an additional cost of R1 500, the SP230 can be bundled with a full GPS solution, including the full roadmap of SA. "With this device your sales people will never get lost or be out of contact again; they can receive their e-mails, voice calls and even access the Internet."
The Pocket PC comes pre-loaded with the following software: Microsoft ActiveSync, Microsoft Reader, Built-in Terminal Service Client, Built-in Wibackup software, Built-in My Ringtone, Pocket Word, Pocket Excel, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Media Player 9 and MSN Messenger as well as Built-in Photo Browsing, Photo Book and MP3 Player.
