OKI delivers new ScanCopier to boost the modern office

Johannesburg, 27 Jun 2002

Printacom, a division of JSE-listed MB Technologies Group, has confirmed OKI`s reputation for providing cost-efficient colour solutions with the introduction of the new OKI C9200/C9400 ScanCopier system to the local market.

"OKI has launched the C9200/C9400 Convenience Copier System (CCS) to complement its award-winning C9000 series colour printers," says Neil Rom, MD of Printacom. "The addition of the CCS to OKI colour printers enables departmental, workgroup, SMEs and SOHO users to scan, copy and print colour or mono documents up to A3 size, without the cost of purchasing a dedicated colour copier or scanner."

Without additional software, the C9200/C9400ccs connects directly to one of OKI`s C9200 or C9400 Digital LED colour printers and has the ability to scan multiple documents via the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF). "The printer will then produce up to 99 scanned copies in either colour or mono without the need for a PC interface," adds Rom.

The CCS solution adds value to business users` investments in OKI technology through its upgrade capability, transforming existing C9000 OKI series printers into an all-in-one scanner, copier and printer.

Rom continues that the C9200/C9400ccs delivers remarkable reproductions of the original copies and prints at up to 21 pages per minute in colour and up to 26 pages per minute in mono.

"Reaching speeds that are unequivocally better than those of its counterparts, OKI`s C9200/C9400ccs takes colour copying and printing to new levels of quality and capability. The combination of high-speed output and up to true 600 x 600dpi, offers a host of benefits to the modern office," concludes Rom.
