Oki Printing Solutions earlier this month announced the extension of the warranty terms on its B4000 and B6000 monochrome laser products, lengthening the timeframe from the initial one year to three years.
"We believe this announcement will come as great news to both our resellers and their customer base since it is an industry first and affords us a value-add and differentiator none of our competitors are currently able to match," says Neil Rom, managing director of Oki Printing Solutions in South Africa.
Rom says the major contributing factors to the warranty extension have been the reliability and robustness the B4000 and B6000 have shown over the past year.
"The Oki brand has always been one that customers have associated with class-leading reliability," Rom says. "Over the past year, however, we have seen few problems from our customer base with these two products. The reliability of the products has allowed us to offer our customers even further peace of mind and an even greater reduction in total cost of ownership by extending the products` warranty terms," he concludes.
