Old Mutual has selected Brio One Enterprise, distributed by AST Abraxas IT Solutions, to provide an appropriate reporting environment for its Unit Trust Distribution department.
The solution implemented by AST Abraxas IT Solutions, a division of the AST Group, includes the hardware, software consulting and training required to establish an appropriate reporting environment, utilising the Brio One suite of Decision Support and Business Intelligence Tools.
Old Mutual realised that, in order to maintain its competitive edge, its reporting capability had to be upgraded to allow Relationship Managers and Intermediaries remote access to information.

The Brio One suite ensures that Old Mutual Unit Trusts is able to gain dynamic and relevant views of its business and to make quick and accurate business decisions.

The Brio One Enterprise reporting solution has a very high level of responsiveness to trends. It allows access to the latest available data by means of the Brio On-Demand Server, for the distribution of web-based reports on demand.
The Brio On-Demand Server has built-in secure access, catering for security specifications per Relationship Manager and Intermediary.
"The Relationship Managers are able to use all the functionality of Brio such as graphs, drill-downs and standard reports," adds Cook, "allowing them to obtain the exact information that they require. They will not have to search through reams of meaningless generic data any longer."
