Local consumer portal MSN.co.za and online auction partner Aucor are hosting an online auction of Microsoft memorabilia to raise money for the Orlando Children`s Home in Soweto.
The goods to go under the virtual hammer are signed by top Microsoft executives such as chairman Bill Gates and vice-president Brian Valentine.
"Registered Aucor bidders will also have the opportunity of purchasing exclusive items that have been specially reserved, such as a framed Bill Gates autographed computer mouse and a framed shirt signed by Brian Valentine," says Brian Winterstein, director at Aucor.com.
The initiative is part of Microsoft South Africa`s corporate social responsibility programme.
Bidders can place their bids at www.aucor.com. Bidding closes on 20 December.
