Online content delivers results

Companies that actively manage Web content with established business processes for measuring and improving content in terms of conversion rates, landing page effectiveness, sales lift on promotions and other page view metrics, are 40 times more likely to demonstrate year-over-year net revenue increases, reports CNN Money.

In a recent survey conducted by Aberdeen, a Harte-Hanks Company, nearly two-thirds of best-in-class (BIC) survey respondents that deliver non-static Web pages reported an improvement in conversion rates.

Ninety-nine percent of BIC companies experienced improvement in average Web site visit duration and the number of Web pages viewed per visitor, as a result of their Web content delivery strategies.

Mediaseed is new Web-based content management platform that offers collaboration, archiving, publishing and evaluation features for corporate marketing and communications professionals.

Dada, Audible Magic partner

Dada has partnered with Audible Magic to establish an integration of a digital rights software solution that will detect copyrighted music and music video on Dada's social networking site in the United States, www.dada.net, according to Business Wire.

The arrangement with Audible Magic is a move by Dada to detect unauthorised copyrighted content and differentiate it from legitimate consumer and media content on user pages.

"We have over one million content files online, so this will help the Dada consumers as much as the digital music, image and video owner," said Massimiliano Pellegrini, CEO of Dada USA. "Consumers can now use their personal pages as a vehicle to share their music and videos through the viral natures of social networks, without worrying if their copyrighted materials will be distributed by someone else."

pTools impresses at conference

Software for content management, developed by Irish company pTools, is among the world's first to provide .net 3.0 compatibility. The software was launched at Microsoft's World-Wide Partner Conference in Denver this month, reports Silicon Republic.

The new software by pTools integrates the form processing used by many organisations into a single user interface.

This pTools Intranet service is now being used by the Irish Stock Exchange. "The technology fits our IT strategy and pTools allows users to manage content for their area of business and in the interaction with other departments, utilising Exchange data as a business resource," said Mark Scully, head of IT at the Irish Stock Exchange.
