Open Text automates e-mail management

Enterprise content management provider Open Text has unveiled its E-mail Management for Microsoft Exchange, an e-mail management solution that helps companies reduce skyrocketing e-mail storage requirements, reports Reuters.

The solution identifies and captures e-mail messages that are useful or important to keep, while disposing of unimportant, low-value e-mail that clogs up the inbox.

"Mismanaged e-mail poses substantial risk and cost, particularly in terms of litigation expenses. The amount of retained directly correlates to these costs and risks," says Jeremy Barnes, programme manager, e-mail management at Open Text.

Nuxeo DM ensures information workers can collaborate with one another as well as share and secure valuable corporate content using social business applications.
