Open Text, a leader in enterprise content management (ECM), has formed a strategic alliance with Deloitte Canada, in which Deloitte professionals will provide Open Text ECM solutions and services that will help organisations worldwide improve the way they manage information to reduce costs and improve compliance, says Market Watch.

Clickability, a Web content management (WCM) provider, has unveiled its Clickability Media Solution, designed to provide a centrally managed software as a service (SaaS) content repository aimed at large media companies, states ZDnet.

The new offering will allow companies to manage all of their content for multiple Web channels from a single repository. The agility that comes from the WCM system allows companies to experiment and innovate without incurring additional cost.

San Francisco-based Clickability currently partners with many of the world's largest media companies to develop revenue-producing online solutions, allowing them to manage large traffic spikes with no investment in hardware or software.

Digital Convergence Partners, a provider of secure enterprise document hosting and content management solutions, has released eCharta, a SaaS deliverable application that provides a secure, Web-based environment for the upload, storage and retrieval of business-critical documents, according to PR Log.

eCharta allows businesses of all sizes to upload scanned documents as well as electronic files (MS Word, Excel etc) into a secure Web-based environment, personalised to the way they do business. Documents are converted to searchable PDF format and can be retrieved through filtered searching.

Comprehensive security attributes and user-profile configuration ensure that business-critical documents can only be viewed by users with sufficient access privilege. Logging mechanisms provide traceability and audit capabilities.
