OpenLogic, Nuxeo partner

OpenLogic, a provider of enterprise open source software solutions, has partnered with Nuxeo, an open source enterprise content management (ECM) software and services provider, says Earth Times.

Both OpenLogic and Nuxeo will sell and provide front line support for the fully integrated Nuxeo ECM Stack, which includes JBoss and PostgreSQL.

Steve Grandchamp, CEO of OpenLogic, says: "When customers buy support for open source applications, they expect support on the infrastructure components that the applications depend on. Open source vendors like Nuxeo with OpenLogic to provide that top to bottom support.”

Astoria unveils content management tool

San Francisco-based Astoria Software has released Astoria On-Demand, a tool for managing XML content across the enterprise, states TMCnet.

The content management tool aims to reduce documentation costs up to 90% and compresses product roll-out cycles from months to weeks.

Astoria Software has completed a financing round led by Astoria investors, including Goldman Sachs, Prism VentureWorks, Blueprint Ventures and Ticonderoga Capital. The funding, according to the company, will be used to target acquisitions of companies in the content management application arena.
