After only two-and-a-half years, Oracle Accelerate and its partners around the world today launched 41 new solutions and have reached the milestone of delivering more than 300 affordable, quick-to-deploy software applications to midsize organisations.
Oracle Accelerate solutions are pre-packaged bundles that pair Oracle Applications with partner knowledge to help deliver rapid, fixed cost implementations.
With a total of 311 solutions offered by 184 partners, Oracle Accelerate today reaches midsize customers in 37 countries on six continents. There are currently Oracle Accelerate offerings from 12 Oracle applications brands that address industry-specific needs of midsize businesses across the globe.
Oracle Accelerate partners have introduced several new solutions previously unavailable:
Infosys Technologies, seeing great demand for Oracle's Transportation Management solution, has launched four Accelerate solutions across India and Australia, focused on industrial manufacturing and travel and transportation. These solutions help companies manage entire transportation networks on one platform to increase asset utilisation, lower transportation costs and reduce environmental impact.
CD Group, showing growth in its business outside of core ERP, has launched three business intelligence Accelerate solutions on Oracle Business Intelligence Suite Enterprise Edition Plus, integrated with Oracle's JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, including: Sales Analysis, Inventory Analysis, and General Ledger Analysis. CD Group also launched an Oracle Accelerate application based on Oracle CRM On Demand.
The first set of Oracle Accelerate solutions in Africa have been introduced by two partners in South Africa:
FusionIS has launched an Oracle Accelerate solution for midsize companies in the consumer products industry that leverages Oracle's JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.
iFactory introduced an Oracle Accelerate solution based on the Oracle E-Business Suite that is designed specifically for the needs of midsize organisations in the financial services industry.
In Mexico, three VAR's - CAAC, Soul & Software, and Ceteris - working with the value-added distributor, Compusoluciones, have launched solutions on the Oracle E-Business Suite. Their solutions in retail, industrial manufacturing and engineering and construction demonstrate how the Oracle E-Business Suite can be implemented rapidly for growing midsize companies.

In emerging markets, customers are keen to look at vertical pre-configured solutions, which can be implemented in an accelerated timeline and can generate a rapid return on investment. The first Oracle Accelerate solution for Oracle Transportation Management (OTM in a Box) attempts to equip the companies with enterprise technology for optimising the logistics function and is scalable to meet their future growth demands,” said Ravi Kumar S, vice-president and global head, Oracle Practice, Infosys Technologies. “The industry-focused pre-packaged units enable us to deliver scalable business solutions to companies in an accelerated timeframe.”
