Oracle BPM gets social

Oracle is upgrading its business process management (BPM) suite, says CMS Wire.

Oracle's BPM Suite 11g enables enterprise users to access and collaborate on tasks via social computing features such as wikis, blogs and user-friendly dashboards.

The tech giant says it is aiming to simplify the management of core business processes by providing a collaborative environment, as well as effective tools for managing and monitoring those business processes.

Questetra unveils BPM API

Questetra, an enterprise software company in Japan, is paving the way for workflows to be operated on the iPad with the release of the Questetra BPMS API, states Bradenton.com.

The Web-based BPM application will make it possible for users to operate workflows via iPad applications, third-party software, and Web browsers.

The company plans to offer the complete solution before September this year.

Riverbed, PTC Windchill partner

PTC Windchill BPM software is now among the applications accelerated by network performance specialist Riverbed Technology in its latest wide area network optimisation solutions, states Zycko.

The software aims to provide Web-based access to centralised information, reducing workloads and enhancing efficiency during development projects, as well as cutting down on errors.

Apurva Dave, vice-president of product marketing at Riverbed, says: "Our alliance with PTC enables enterprises to accelerate the performance of their IT infrastructure while minimising their financial investments."
