Oracle, Dell partnership broadens support for growing application server market

Oracle Corp has announced that Dell will offer Oracle9i Application Server, the industry`s fastest growing application server.

This agreement builds on Dell`s and Oracle`s respective positions as leading hardware and software providers and further cements both companies` commitment to providing low cost enterprise-class solutions.

Oracle9i Application Server has gained tremendous momentum in the past year among enterprise companies seeking a truly integrated application server product. This momentum is evidenced by several recent third-party analyst research reports from IDC, the International Oracle Users Group (IOUG), and other leading firms that highlight Oracle9i Application Server as the fastest growing product in the application server market. In addition, Oracle9i Application Server is the first application server to integrate Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE), portal, workflow, integration and other middleware features into a single product.
