Oracle Hyperion EPM conference to be hosted by Intellient

Johannesburg, 18 Nov 2009

Intellient is once again gathering the best business intelligence (BI) and enterprise performance management (EPM) minds together to discuss the future of EPM and the world's leading EPM brand, as well as to network with peers and colleagues at the Solutions Africa 2009 Conference.

This year's conference, themed Oracle Hyperion EPM and Beyond, educates attendees on the strategic future of EPM, while demonstrating current successes in well-known southern African companies.

The conference is held from Monday 16 November to Wednesday 18 November 2009. This year sees the beautiful Kwa Maritane hotel as the host venue.

“The 2009 conference focuses on Oracle Hyperion EPM and the benefits customers can extract from this unrivalled suite of applications,” says Bruckner de Villiers, sales director of EOH. “In addition, we also feature presentations discussing emerging trends and changes in the EPM and BI environment, delivered by domain specialists from around the world.

“Intellient is an EOH company and an Oracle partner, and we therefore also introduce solutions from both companies that are complementary to EPM, such as Oracle's Governance, Risk and Compliance, and e-filing solutions. The conference is attended by leaders with finance, IT and administration responsibilities in business.”

The main conference is previewed by an executive track, hosted by executives from Oracle and EOH, designed to assist delegates in maximising their Hyperion investment. Attendees have the opportunity to network with these top-tier decision-makers and gain insight into the strategic direction of Oracle's EPM solution set.

Specifically, delegates can network by joining in on a game of golf at the Pecanwood Golf Course, or on a game drive in the Pilanesberg reserve.

As always, to supplement the strategy and trend presentations, success stories are delivered by the customers who have implemented the Hyperion solutions in their organisations. These case studies walk attendees through the real-life experiences of implementing EPM solutions, the problems encountered and how they are solved.

BI and EPM professionals who need to know the optimal strategies and partnerships in order to implement the solutions for the best results and effective decision-making, are gaining huge insight by attending Solutions Africa 2009.
