Oracle SA has announced Procure-to-Pay in 30 Days, a complete business software solution designed to streamline the entire procurement process within the shortest possible time - 30 days or less.
Available in SA towards the end of 2001, Procure-to-Pay in 30 Days is said to encompass the full range of purchasing activities, including pre-sourced catalogues, requisitioning, purchasing, invoicing, receiving, payments, electronic banking, automatic cash reconciliation and reporting.
"With Procure to Pay in 30 Days, Oracle automates the e-procurement purchasing process for all enterprises - from contract negotiation to requisitioning, payments and cash reconciliation," says Glenn Lottering, Business Development manager at Oracle SA.
Lottering says the automation of receiving, invoicing, and electronic payments with cash reconciliation are all key steps in the complete procure-to-pay business flow and each element is vital to success.
"The Procure-to-Pay concept is part of the new generation of FastForward business flows that Oracle has been implementing for some time now," says Lottering.
"The Procure-to-Pay in 30 Days solutions follows our CRM in 90 Days campaign and is the first complete business flow to be announced as a new generation flow for our ERP suite."
He says this is the first of many complete and integrated business flows that will become available from Oracle. "It is an indication that Oracle will now offer CRM and ERP business flows that deliver reduced risk, fixed cost and faster return on investment," he adds.
