Oracle offers hybrid approach

Oracle has developed pre-built integration software for its CRM On Demand product and the on-premise Siebel CRM, providing customers with a single view of their CRM data, states Networkworld.

Companies can benefit from a hybrid approach to CRM, because the on-demand model allows companies to more easily add new users, while enabling data from both systems to be analysed at once, Oracle said.

The integration software employs Oracle's Application Integration Architecture framework and Fusion middleware. Pricing was not disclosed.

Xactly Corporation, a provider of on-demand sales performance management, and AIM Technology, a provider of analytical performance-management software solutions for contact centres and service organisations, have entered into a strategic go-to-market partnership, according to Newswire Today.

Under the agreement, Xactly and AIM will co-sell and co-market their respective on-demand software solutions to extend call centre performance management capabilities to include pay-for-performance cash and non-cash incentives.

Contact centre performance management solutions providers, such as leading specialist AIM Technology, offer tools that allow organisations to closely monitor the effectiveness of their contact centres.

The Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (R-ADAG) has awarded a five-year outsourcing contract to a Delhi-based call centre Caretel Infotech, a part of Dalmiya group, says Business Standard.

The contract, spread over a five-year period, includes setting up of customer call centres for the group's telecom company, recently released DTH, mutual funds and insurance services.

The move gains importance as R-ADAG operates a large captive BPO company, Reliance BPO, employing over 12 000 personnel across New Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai.
