Oracle standardises globally on Mercury`s enterprise testing tools

Mercury Interactive Corp the leading provider of enterprise testing and application performance management solutions, and Oracle Corp the world`s largest enterprise software company, announced today that the Oracle E-Business Suite quality assurance and research and development groups are initiating a global standardisation on Mercury Interactive`s enterprise testing tools.

Mercury Interactive solutions used by Oracle include LoadRunner, the industry-standard load testing solution, WinRunner, the award-winning functional and regression testing solution and TestDirector, the industry`s first solution for global test management.

Oracle uses these industry-leading tools for in-house performance and functionality testing to ensure that Oracle E-Business Suite delivers superior reliability and scalability. In addition, Oracle will begin compiling a library of test scripts to facilitate implementation and migration for future releases of Oracle E-Business Suite.

Mercury Interactive and Oracle work closely together through various programs to ensure that customers have robust and seamlessly integrated solutions. As a Certified Solution Partner, Mercury Interactive receives a high level of service, R&D support and training from Oracle, along with early access to the latest Oracle application releases. As a result, Oracle customers can leverage the tight integration of Mercury Interactive`s enterprise testing solutions to verify the functionality and scalability of their Oracle applications within the context of their in-house infrastructure. This type of testing will allow Oracle customers to ensure that their business-critical systems continue to perform as expected as they migrate to the Oracle E-Business Suite.
