Twenty software developers from Oracle Corp took to the skies recently to celebrate the launch of a new product from Oracle, the world`s largest supplier of e-business software.
The jump took place at the Pretoria Skydiving Club and was also used to mark the successful conclusion of Oracle`s global project to link Oracle subsidiaries into a single information and business transaction resource - located in San Francisco.
Oracle SA is the latest subsidiary to become part of this global e-business model. It joins Oracle subsidiaries in South America, Asia and Europe that support the "single instance, single database concept" to improve internal operating efficiency.
The new software release is Oracle`s Release 11 Financial software application.
