Oracle Corp, the world`s largest enterprise software company, today announced the immediate availability of new role-based Oracle E-Business Suite training.
The new education offerings from Oracle University focus on implementer and line of business end-user training paths for Oracle E-Business Suite 11i. The new training paths are designed to fast-track implementation, adoption of key business processes and application functionality by implementers, project managers and end-users.
"The new training offerings provide project teams and end users with the knowledge necessary to maximise their use of the Oracle E-Business Suite and ensure accelerated adoption of the new applications," said John Hall, senior vice president, Oracle University. "We have tailored the application learning paths to accommodate both beginners and advanced users, allowing them to access the breadth and depth of training that meets their individual needs. The result is a convenient and cost-effective method of training."
Oracle E-Business Suite 11i Training for Implementers
The Oracle E-Business Suite Implementation training is provides both implementers and project team members with the foundation knowledge needed to begin implementations immediately. Training is offered in clear learning paths that guide the learner from basic concepts such as navigation, through product fundamentals to advanced topics. Each of the learning paths are designed so that project members can choose the appropriate level of learning they need to get the breadth and depth of training they require quickly. The training content is available in a variety of formats to be convenient for the learner.
"Oracle University has delivered an excellent implementation training program. As an Oracle Partner, I required training that would give me the skills and knowledge needed to educate my customer to ensure a successful implementation," said Teresa Lybarger, financial consultant, Parson Group. "The curriculum was structured to provide the right foundation of Oracle knowledge to begin implementation right away. I will be recommending this training to other people in my organisation."
Oracle E-Business Suite 11i Training for End-Users
Oracle understands that the true test of a successful implementation is the ability for a company to use the new or upgraded applications to improve business efficiencies and enable users to do their jobs more effectively. The E-Business Suite End-User training courses provide a rich, role-based learning experience for end-users of Oracle`s e-business applications. The new courses train end-users to perform their daily tasks quickly and effectively by accessing training materials based on their role and business process they are performing as part of their daily job functions.
"Training was one of my biggest worries because of the time constraints of our implementation, said Bruce Charles, Receivables Supervisor, Ingersoll-Rand. "The E-Business Suite End-User training has been very valuable to us and because we have a 12-month subscription to training content, our users have been able to re-visit materials throughout the project to reinforce their learning."
The average role-based course is a half-day to one-and-a-half days and consists of online learning focused on navigational instruction, process tutorials, practices and quizzes.
The online, 24x7 availability of Oracle 11i E-Business Suite curriculum ensures that even companies with a geographically dispersed user community have access to consistent learning. With the 12-month subscription to the training content offered by Oracle, users will be able to access the training materials from their desktop anytime to reinforce learning.
