Enterprise software giant Oracle has announced several new implementation options and outsourcing programs at its annual Oracle Appsworld Conference in San Diego.
With more than 75% of Oracle`s applications customer base engaged with the Oracle E-Business Suite 11i, Oracle is announcing several new implementation options and outsourcing programs to help customers lower the cost of doing business and achieve a faster return on investment.
To achieve this, Oracle plans to focus on new services, including Oracle business flow accelerators, which are bundled product and services packages designed to help large to medium-sized customers address business process improvements.
Another focus will be on Linux as a low-cost platform for enterprise application deployment. Oracle is also unveiling a new program that will provide customers with the total cost of an application`s deployment, including software, implementation and the monthly application maintenance, described as a first in the applications industry.
Oracle will also highlight significant customer upgrade success. The company says 75% of Oracle applications customers are live or are implementing Oracle E-Business Suite, and cites cost savings and streamlined business processes for improved efficiency and profits as key benefits.
