Orbis joins SAP PartnerEdge

Orbis Software says it has joined the SAP PartnerEdge Program and is now submitting its globally adopted business process management (BPM) suite for the SAP ISV Certified Integration Partner Program, states Newswire Today.

This widely anticipated partnership will be welcomed by Orbis Software's existing global community of SAP Business One partners.

Paul Garratt, the technical director for Orbis Software says: “Our participation in the SAP PartnerEdge Program is the first step towards full product certification and we will be working closely with SAP throughout this process to ensure we meet all the requirements of the program.”

LRES deploys TrackPoint REO solution

DepotPoint, a provider of management workflow solutions, says that LRES Corporation, a provider of valuations and asset management, has deployed its TrackPoint real estate-owned (REO) solution, writes National Mortgage Professional.

The company deployed the solution to facilitate REO transactions on behalf of its clients. Specifically, LRES is using TrackPoint REO as its primary technology to manage the rapidly growing demand for REO sales.

“We selected TrackPoint because it enabled customisable workflows for the detailed REO process and because of the impressive network of real estate agents experienced in bank-owned properties through DepotPoint's AgentConnect,” says Roger Beane, CEO of LRES Corporation.

Cordys' BPM efforts recognised

Cordys, a provider of software for business process innovation, was named as one of the middleware mega-vendor challengers in a report entitled 'Challenging the Middleware Megavendors', published in September 2010 by independent technology and market research company Forrester Research, says InfoTech.

In the report, Forrester calls Cordys “one of the companies that is big enough to offer a full stack or portfolio of middleware components that add up to a business process platform, including integration and business process management capabilities”.

Forrester's report highlights Cordys' integrated and open platform, noting that: "Cordys developed a comprehensive yet still compact and technically consistent business process platform. A lot of lessons learned from the former Baan system went into this next-generation platform."
