Orbital Computer Services appointed Novell Business Partner

Johannesburg, 18 May 2001

Novell Africa has welcomed Nigeria-based Orbital Computer Services Limited (OCSL) on board its Business Partner programme.

"OCSL boasts an enviable competitive advantage in the Nigerian computer sales and services industry," says Graham Hallworth, Novell regional manager for sub-Saharan Africa. "It retains this edge by keeping abreast of the fast pace of innovations in computer technology, and through remarkable service delivery to its clients."

"Our philosophy is to excite and delight our clients by supplying them with affordable, high-quality products that meet their specifications," says OCSL general manager Titi Adisa. "We go the extra mile by thoroughly researching our customers` needs in order to give them a solution that will satisfy all their requirements.

"Being a Novell Business Partner further increases our edge over our local competitors," Adisa continues. "Not only does it enhance our market penetration, but it also increases our revenue base by enabling us to market one of the most popular operating systems - Novell NetWare. This in turn enhances the skills and expertise of our staff."

"We are pleased to have OCSL on board the PartnerNet programme," says Hallworth. "Our Business Partners are key to Novell`s success in sub-Saharan Africa and play a vital role in our efforts to develop and support the channel."
