Project portfolio management (PPM) end-to-end solutions provider PMSight will host two-day PPM workshops later this month in Johannesburg.

"Some organisations are not mature enough to understand the value of the IT solutions they implement and, therefore, need to be made of the benefits of PPM when carried out effectively," says Paul Viviers, MD of PMSight.

He says the workshops are designed to help organisations, companies and individuals optimise resources and ensure all projects are aligned with organisations' priorities and strategies.

Held on 27 and 28 November, and again on 29 and 30 November, the workshops will be conducted by PMSight director Kevin in't Veld, who works and trains internationally as an organisational consultant, planner, educator and curriculum developer.

Viviers claims that, through the workshop, CIOs, CTOs, CFOs, portfolio managers, programme managers and project managers will receive a good understanding of PPM best practices.

Candidates will earn up to 14 contact hours towards their Certified Associate in Project Management or Project Management Professional qualifications by attending the PPM interactive workshop, which will be held at The Campus in Bryanston.
