In line with Orion Telecom`s strategy to continuously deliver service excellence, the company has restructured and expanded its technical department, which will be headed by Rajen Pillay.
Pillay, who has been employed as product development manager with Orion Telecom for the last five years, has been promoted to national service manager and will overlook the technical departments across all regions of the company, ie Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and Port Elizabeth.
His primary focus will be to ensure continuous high service levels and to identify opportunities in which to enhance these.
Says Pillay: "Customer satisfaction is our primary concern and in view of this, we commit ourselves to providing the highest quality service from inception of installation to continuous after-sales service. Our technical staff has an ongoing presence in the customer`s organisation to ensure smooth running of equipment, deal with challenges onsite while ensuring minimal disruption to the customer and his operation, and to assist and consult the customer according to his needs."
With an extensive experience in the telecommunications arena spanning 16 years, Pillay brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the department and the company, adding value to the overall operation and development of the technical team.
