OTEL Telecoms has announced that Mohammad Patel, its founder and CEO, is the invited keynote speaker at the Cloud Based Contact Centres Conference 2012, to be held at the Southern Sun Hotel, OR Tambo International Airport, from 17 to 19 September.
The Cloud Based Contact Centres Conference 2012 will present expert thought leaders as they discuss how cloud computing has changed the economics of the contact centre for companies of all sizes. The event is aimed to equip delegates with cost saving strategies in cloud-based contact centre solutions on the African continent.
"Many smart companies are leveraging technology, particularly cloud-based contact centre platforms, to strike a balance between providing an exceptional service on the one hand and minimising labour costs - the most significant line item in any budget - and eliminating capital investments on the other."
Commented Rejoyce Mabandhla, organiser of the Cloud Based Contact Centres Conference 2012: "We chose Mr Patel because he was recommended by other industry professionals as a thought leader in this subject, because OTEL is considered a premium provider of the Centrex Cloud Call Centre Solution and 1 Cloud hosted PBX, and also, I came across an article by him in which he was highlighting how cloud solutions can lower capex in a contact centre."
The conference will present expert, critical and cutting-edge insights as to the development and evolution of contact centre technology.
"I am honoured to be a guest speaker at the conference among such telecoms industry leaders in Africa and look forward to present my views on how to increase cloud call centre presence and infrastructure in a somewhat cloud technology-lagging South Africa," Patel said.
"The advances taking place in the world in the area of cloud-based call centres are substantive and I am pleased that OTEL Telecoms is recognised in industry circles as a leader in this field."
The event will also host a full-day workshop, where delegates will be informed as to what questions to ask, which vendor to choose, and which red flags to look out for.
If you represent a call centre or provide services to call centres, this is surely an event you should not miss out on.
Registration is open. Interested delegates should contact rejoicem@amc-intsa.com.
