In order to eliminate prevailing warranty and service issues pertaining to Laptech branded notebooks, One Technology Group (OTG), a member of JSE-listed Siltek Limited, confirms it will accept and manage all Laptech notebooks within first year warranty.
Notebooks falling outside of first year warranty will be managed by SCR technologies, a nationwide third party repair centre facility. This acceptance is subject to the trading terms and conditions adhered to by SCR.
"In order to better deal with queries and repairs for Laptech notebooks we have established a hotline on (011) 254-2873; e-mail queries can be sent to stuartf@otg.co.za for further advice and assistance. We want to resolve issues for our notebook users as quickly and fairly as possible," says Glenn Miller, MD of OTG.
OTG acquired the Laptech notebook brand from Laptop Technologies in November last year.
