Ovations, a leading process, content and integration specialist, has announced the appointment of Gys Hyman as its managing director with immediate effect.
Hyman, who has been with the company for two years in the capacity of consulting services director, succeeds Rainer Gaier.
Gaier is the principle founding member of Ovations and has retired from the business, although he will remain connected in a non-executive capacity.
Hyman is an experienced executive, who has a proven record in the field of consulting services. He has demonstrated exceptional passion, commitment and vision in his role as a director of the business. This, coupled with his years of experience in the consulting industry, ideally positions Hyman to direct Ovations as it strategically focuses on positioning itself as a leading services consultancy within the local market.
Prior to joining Ovations, Hyman spent many years in business consulting roles in companies such as PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting (IBM Business Consulting Services), Dimension Data, Persetel (Comparex) and MB Technologies (Tarsus). Managing large-scale projects for clients in the financial, insurance and manufacturing industries has provided Hyman with significant knowledge in areas such as strategic business planning, process reengineering, enterprise content management, system analysis and customer relationship management.
