Ovations ranked among top 60 ICT companies in SA

Ovations is ranked among the top 60 ICT companies in SA, as listed in the third edition of the biennial edition of Top ICT Companies in South Africa 2003/4, published by the Corporate Research Foundation (CRF) in collaboration with Computing SA.

CRF is an independent, international organisation that initiates, co-ordinates and delivers business research projects worldwide. CRF originated in the Netherlands in 1992 and today has offices in seven countries on three continents.

The South African office has been in operation since 1997. CRF represents a combined initiative of business journalists, researchers and international publishers. It conducts all research, writing, editing, production and additional marketing for its various publications.

CRF`s selection process represents a selection of SA`s best and most innovative ICT companies. Ovations was among a variety of companies profiled, from niche-market start-ups to global suppliers. All were analysed on macro- and micro-business factors.

"Companies that agreed to be included in the initial research opened their doors to business journalists on CRF`s research team who, through interviews with key directors and staff, confirmed whether the company qualified for selection and publication," says Walton. "Only those selected for publication make a financial contribution towards the research, writing, marketing and public relations costs of the publication."
