KeyTools today announced KeyGold, a software package that fully integrates the "Pending", "History" and "Notes" tabs in GoldMine to and from Palm OS-based handheld devices. GoldMine, the Contact Management Sales Tool, is from US-based FrontRange Solutions, a member of JSE-listed Ixchange Group.
KeyGold enables elements of GoldMine to become affordably mobile, thus reducing the challenge of conducting business away from the office. The user interfaces to these GoldMine tabs on a Palm O/S-based PDA exhibit the same look and feel as when they are accessed from the desktop.
"We are extremely excited about KeyGold," commented Richard Chalk, CEO of KeyTools (Pty) Ltd. "We will launch this product internationally at the GoldMine Solutions Partner-Business Building conference being held in Nice, France in September, and it will be the first of our developments that are intended for the international market."
A release of KeyGold for GoldMine 5 has also just become available.
A version for Pocket PC/CE is planned for later this year.
