Local converged network provider, KSS Technologies (KSS), has announced that it has partnered with Palo Alto Networks, a global provider of next-generation firewalls.
With this partnership, KSS has extended its offering and can now deliver a network security management solution that offers enterprises greater visibility and control of their next-generation firewall infrastructure through automated policy management that increases operational efficiency, ensures compliance and reduces risk.
KSS sales manager Stuart Cohen says Palo Alto Networks delivers the only next-generation firewall that provides policy-based visibility and control over applications, users and threats. “Partnering with Palo Alto Networks was an obvious choice, it was recognised as a leader in Gartner's 2011 Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Network Firewalls.”
According to Gartner, the enterprise network firewall market is undergoing a period of dynamic evolution, as effective next-generation firewalls are now increasingly necessary. Vendors that have addressed advanced targeted threats have seen gains in the market.
“KSS is a perfect fit for the expansion of our business in the region. The solutions offered by KSS are complementary and will help deliver next-generation firewalls to carriers, managed service providers and enterprises,” says Jeroen Dubbelman, Sales Director of Palo Alto SA distributor Bitrate.
Palo Alto Networks next-generation firewalls are based on a unique Single Pass Parallel Processing (SP3) Architecture - which enables high-throughput, low-latency network security, even while incorporating unprecedented features and technology.
"We believe Gartner's report confirms that Palo Alto Networks is the innovator in network security at a time when changing threat conditions and changing business and IT processes are driving network security managers to demand more of their enterprise network firewalls," says Palo Alto Networks VP of Worldwide Marketing, Ren'e Bonvanie.
