Imported to and distributed in SA exclusively by NPC (Electronics) Limited, the two new models in the KX-P7300 WORKiO family of workgroup laser printers boast several sought-after features, including:
* Duplex printing - A built-in Auto Duplex Printing Unit (ADU) allows automated double-sided printing, with the option of 2-up/4-up, so you can save paper by printing several documents on a single sheet of paper, either two or four at a time (maximum eight, if printing both sides simultaneously).
* High print quality - Consistently high image quality laser printing, which ensures crisp, professional-looking documents.
* Fast print-rate - Both units print at18 pages-per-minute (1200 x 600dpi maximum).
* Simple installation and operation - IEEE 1284 parallel and USB 2.0 ports are standard, allowing ease of connectivity to the PC platform. Installing the printer driver is quick and easy, as is printing documents: choose from the range of user-friendly settings, then monitor the progress of the job using the on-screen graphic display message.
* Adaptable paper handling - Print on a range of media types, including plain paper (80gsm), envelopes, paper labels, transparencies and heavy paper.
* Large paper capacity - The standard media tray in either printer holds up to 250 sheets of 80gsm bond paper. Optional second feeders increase this capacity by 550 sheets to a total of 800 sheets. Up to 150 sheets can be accommodated in the paper output tray.
* Cost-savings - In addition to lower-priced consumables, the units feature a power-saving mode (which reduces operating costs) and an economy print mode (which uses less toner).
