Panda Internet Security 2007 has received numerous awards over the last few months, including a five-star rating from PC World magazine. The publication also awarded the product its "Recommended Product" seal of approval.
The review described the Panda Internet Security 2007 interface as easy-to-use and intuitive. "We discovered that the virus detection tools are both rapid and intuitive. It is easy to understand both the mechanism and structure of its interface for detecting and eliminating malicious programs."
The article also underlined the importance of the anti-phishing features, ie, the protection of personal data.

Panda Internet Security 2007 was one of the fastest solutions in the test, scanning more than 9 000 types of malicious code - both old and new - in one minute, 40 seconds. In contrast, other solutions took as long as 50 minutes to complete this test.

VeriTest, the test service of Lionbridge, carried out a study of different security solutions which found that Panda Internet Security 2007 performed faster and offers better performance than rival products from developers including McAfee, Symantec, Karspersky and Trend Micro.
The performance tests were carried out with WorldBench 5.0, the same software used by PC World's "Test Center".
