PricewaterhouseCoopers and Pandesic today announced a strategic alliance to accelerate e-commerce solution delivery worldwide for both online and offline companies ranging from Fortune 200 companies to Internet startups. The alliance makes PricewaterhouseCoopers the preferred systems integration and consulting organization to implement and deploy the Pandesic solution and allows Pandesic to reach a new customer base for its proven commerce platform. The alliance is projected to generate $1 billion in revenue over three years for the two organizations.
The alliance with Pandesic enhances PricewaterhouseCoopers` comprehensive e-commerce solution set offerings. In turn, PricewaterhouseCoopers` worldwide implementation and deployment force will help Pandesic answer global market demand and help reach its customer acquisition goals. Combined, PricewaterhouseCoopers` service offerings and Pandesic`s customer-driven standard commerce platform is expected to quickly and efficiently launch clicks-and-mortar and dot-com companies.
"Many of our clients need to quickly deploy e-business solutions," says Dave Padmos, partner, PricewaterhouseCoopers. "This alliance offers a flexible and cost-effective framework for integrating e-business into our clients` business."
The alliance will help increase the speed to the e-commerce market and accelerate the delivery of Pandesic functionality to companies worldwide.
PricewaterhouseCoopers will strengthen Pandesic`s strong customer partnership business model upon which over 100 leading commerce companies are powered. PricewaterhouseCoopers will show companies how to apply e-commerce to their overall business practices, while Pandesic`s evolving commerce platform answers real-world business needs as they arise.
"This alliance enables traditional businesses to be competitive in the New Economy as well as equips new companies for competition with proven business processes and practices," said Harold Hughes, CEO of Pandesic. "In addition to these benefits, this alliance will enable Pandesic to scale and grow our own business globally."
PricewaterhouseCoopers will integrate Pandesic`s commerce platform into its Solution Delivery Centers, which will provide another mechanism to accelerate time-to-market e-business solution delivery. It allows Pandesic to leverage PricewaterhouseCoopers` global centers to provide continuous improvement and repeatable processes, thereby enhancing the alliance`s ability to rapidly deploy end-to-end e-business applications.
