ASYST International SA, the sole South African distributor for Access Accounting Ltd, today announced that a `paperless communication facility`, with e-mail and fax integration, has been launched in the new e-commerce financial package Access Horizons version 4.
Users can now e-mail documents or reports directly from within the Access application. The technology integrates with a range of messaging services including Microsoft Exchange and Outlook. Documents are automatically addressed, and are sent as e-mail attachments in industry standard PDF format. E-mailed documents can then be automatically stored with the Customer or Supplier records, allowing users of Horizons access to the information sent.
At the same time, Access has launched a configurable FAX interface that integrates a range of fax software suppliers including Tobit Software. Again this facility produces documents directly from within Horizons.
